Pickup information
You will receive a fulfillment confirmation via email when one of our team members reviews and accepts your online order. We may call you with questions about your order. Cake orders will be ready during regular business hours (listed at the bottom of the page) at the pickup time requested during checkout.
At pickup, you will view, approve, and sign for your cake. Our team will review serving instructions with you. If you have any issues with the cake's appearance, please inform a team member immediately, before leaving the store. Once the cake is signed for, AMIE Bakery is no longer liable for any issues during transport or storage. Please review our store policies listed below and inform anyone who may be picking up an order on your behalf.
We receive and fulfill a large volume of orders each day. Your scheduled pickup time is an agreement: pickup is the responsibility of the customer. Please select a time during our business hours that works for you. We cannot guarantee that an employee will be at the shop after hours. We do our best to reach customers who are running late, but cannot guarantee a courtesy call. If you are likely going to arrive after our closing, please call us during business hours to let us know. If you arrive after hours for order pickup, please report to the Employee Entrance at the back of the building, and ring the doorbell.
In the event that you do not pickup your order, your cake(s) will be available for pickup the following business day. AMIE Bakery is not liable for items not picked up during regular business hours. Please review our store policies listed below and inform anyone who may be picking up an order on your behalf.
store policy
Only orders that are paid in full will be added to our production queue. All cake orders are final sale and non-refundable. If you place an order online and do not receive email confirmation within 24 hours, please call 508.428.1005 to verify receipt of the order.
Cancellation Policy
We receive a large number of orders every week and can only accommodate a certain capacity on our production queue. When you cancel an order with ample notice, it enables us to accommodate another customer’s request. When a last minute cancellation is made, we are unable to make up for the lost sale. Therefore, cancellations made after a cake has entered production will incur a 50 percent cancellation fee. In order to maintain a manageable workload and maintain the quality of our work, we must enforce this policy.
Significant alterations to cake flavors, sizes, or decorations must be made by phone and with 3+ days notice with any additional upcharges paid in full. Requests for changes cannot be guaranteed and are subject to our production schedule and availability.
Merchandise Credit Policy
Any discrepancies with a product after it has left our store must be documented with a photo and reported to the store within 48 hours of pickup. Cakes with internal issues must be brought back to the store for review by our management team. Merchandise credits will not be honored without proof of discrepancy and are left up to the manager’s discretion.
We only offer store credits if the mistake was made by one of our team members. Mistakes do not include: decoration details such as (but not limited to) color shades, tones, writing font, decoration placement, etc. This is strictly enforced by our Creative Freedom Policy. Cakes are presented for viewing at pickup and are considered accepted if signed for and received by the customer or other pickup person.
STORING + SERVING
Cakes should be stored in the refrigerator or a comparable cold, shady environment. Cakes should be served at room temperature for best texture and flavor. Extra cake may be stored in airtight containers in the freezer.
Please note: repeatedly subjecting a cake to varying cool-to-warm temperatures may result in decorations becoming soft or unstable and fillings to soften, resulting in leaning or sliding of cake layers, condensation on the frosting, colors bleeding, or other visual signs of improper storage.
